Slaughterhouse-Five

I started re-reading this book.I must have read it 10 times. It is such an amazing book. It is deep, sad, tragic, playful. It has WWII, metaphysics, aliens, time disconnection. It has an excerpt from a wonderful poem by Theodore Roethke. It 's about a man who lives in three places at the same time: in Dresden during World War II, in the midwest in the 1970's and in a planet called Trafalgamadore, where he lives with a porn star. There is joy in the way the words are written and there is joy in reading it, and there's also sadness too. A must read.
