A Good Woman
"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." Lady Windemere's Fan, Oscar Wilde
I had no idea this movie existed. It was never released to theaters, but I found it at Borders. It's an adaptation of an Oscar Wilde play (Lady Windemere's Fan) starring Helen Hunt and Scarlett Johansson. The setting has been updated to 1930's Italy but all the famous Wilde dialogue is still there. It concerns a woman (Hunt) with a reputation as a maneater who sets out to destroy the perfect marriage of Mrs Wildemere. Movie was obviously shot with a low budget, but the acting is good and well, you can't really completely mess up an Oscar Wilde play, can you? This movie was a pleasant surprise. Nothing spectacular, but an OK little movie.

Rajaoooo!
Borders brings some good movies, but to me they are too expensive. I've been on the verge o buying "Madame Bovarie" in French, but la economÃa está mala.
