Yesterday I had an interesting afternoon. I had an hour long FaceTime video chat session with my friend Erika who lives in NYC. The whole thing played like a real life visit. She was doing her laundry while she was talking to me. I was walking around my apartment, drinking a bottle of water. We talked as if we were in the same place. Very cool.
Later that day, I exchanged tweets with my friend Chava from NYC. She was coming back from a photo shoot at the beach and was really excited. Very cool too.
Then I exchanged e-mails with Andres, a friend from NYC, who is an avid movie fan and we exchanged some articles and suggestions for movies.
I had a NYC afternoon without actually being there.
Very cool.
